Starting with a brakeless-specific 36 hole, 45mm wide Premium Varanyak rim laced to our Planetary freecoaster hub. The Planetary coaster has the lighter weight, pedal engagement and sound of a cassette, with the backward rolling freedom of a freecoaster--a magical combination. The wide rim width and shape creates a strong wheel that results in less tire rollover at lower pressure, improved reduction in tire bulge, and better tire surface contact.
